The National Newsletter for the Caravan Club of Southern Africa. The name originated after the Club bought a house in Germiston, which became the headquarters of the Club for many years. In 2023 the house was sold and the office moved to the Secretariat’s home.
The Homestead News will remain the name of our Newsletter to serve as a reminder and memory of long gone years in the Club.

I want to emphasize once again: the strength of the CCSA lies in its members. Not in the National or Provincial Councils, but in you. Your commitment is the foundation of our future. I am proud to acknowledge that several members have already stepped forward to offer their time and expertise, and we are deeply grateful for their support.

Our greatest strength lies in our members. Every one of you contributes to the spirit and legacy of this club. As we move forward, we need to focus on what keeps our members happy, engaged, and involved. More relevant events, better communication, shared stories, family-friendly activities, and local support all form part of a renewed effort to retain the heart of the CCSA—you.

This is the most wonderful time of the year, and as adults, we understand the importance of giving more than receiving, we plan to make this the most meaningful time for our loved ones.

Welcome to the next edition of the Homestead News. Thank you to all who contributed to the contents of this newsletter. A special thank you to those who took time in taking the contents and re arrange it to form the newsletter.

Welcome to our 2022 summer edition of the Homestead News which I trust you will find interesting to read.

Most of us will not be around to celebrate the next 75 years and I am sure that what we have built will carry the CCSA to the next level.

I take this opportunity of wishing one and all a safe and happy festive season and to congratulate in advance our matriculants on the successful completion of their final exams.

If ever there was a time that would go down in the annals of history, the year gone by must surely be at the top of the list. Life, as we knew it has changed forever and in years to come the youth of today will be telling their children and grandchildren.

The National Council members of the CCSA are in communication with each other on an almost daily basis looking at ways and means of meeting the new challenges we will be facing in the days

Welcome to the 2018 Summer edition of the Homestead News. As the year draws to a close and we reflect on the past twelve months

With the pressures of finalizing our financial year-end duties in the office, setting up a new reporting program for our Regional Committees and preparing for the forthcoming Convention, time has most certainly caught up with us.

Welcome to this edition of the Homestead News. We did say that this edition was supposed to have been published by the end of June but it was subsequently decided that it would be held back until now.

As we approach the end of the year and we reflect on the past Twelve months one again realizes that time has simply flown by and we wonder what has happened. This is so symptomatic of the modern world.

Welcome to the Winter Edition of the Homestead News. We know it is a bit late this year for which we apologize but as the saying goes rather late than never.

It was just the other day we were packing the Christmas decorations away and here we are getting ready to put them up again. This past year has simply flown by at a frightening pace - yet so much has happened.
