A Review of Caravan Parks you may Consider when Planning a Trip to see the Flowers in the Western Cape

One of our members has recently returned from a trip to this beautiful area and has compiled his views and experiences of some of the Caravan Parks in which they stayed.

Kameelboom Lodge – Vryburg
Rated 6/10. The site levels are a bit uneven in some places. The ablutions are satisfactory and service from the park is excellent

Municipal Park – Nieuwoudtville
Rated 4/10. The sites are acceptable but the ablutions are too far away. There are too few and they are poorly maintained.

Vanrhynsdorp Caravan Park.
Rated 7/10.  Sites are level and neat. Ablutions are Unisex and are clean.

Municipal Park – Lamberts Bay
Rated 6/10. Sites vary from good to poor. Each site has its own ablution which are very clean

Klipwerf – Calvinia
Rated 8/10. It is small but sites are level with own ablutions which are perfectly clean. What a pleasure to stay at

Kalahari Water – Keinoes
Rated 3/10. Sites are uneven and there is only one shared ablution. It is very over rated and prices are not justified.

This review is for the benefit of our fellow campers and is not intended to create any advantage or disadvantage for any of the above parks
